I spotted this flower arrangement today at my church while I was there helping a friend upload pictures onto her Facebook. I just stood there and inhaled the amazing fragrance of the fresh flowers. It was heaven on earth -- I have the smell of the flowers imprinted into my memory bank, perhaps enough to last til spring!
The sad thing: I had to re-enter the snow zone....yikes! We're at about 70" accumulation of the white stuff. Good thing I snapped a shot of the flowers for Project 365. It's kept a smile on my face all day long!
I found this spring quote this evening...“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.” (Anne Bradstreet) Perhaps she's right! Boy, Spring is going to be one big party at this rate.
One more quote. With the thaw starting to happen in the Great Pacific North Wet (PNW), this is kinda appropriate. I'm usually not very happy with getting wet in piles of gunky slush. But I'll have a happy heart because..."Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush.” (Doug Larson)
Stayed tuned for tomorrow's picture. I'm going to locate the kayaks in the garage. We might need them!

From Snow Shoes to Canoes! (As I shake my head in wonder...)
What a crazy Winter we're having. I tried to get my kids to school today and turned right back around and brought them home to stay with me for another day. It's just not safe out there yet!
Hang in there...we'll get together for that coffee yet! Did you scrub your toilets today???

Beautiful flowers! Spring is just around the corner... right? It will be a fabulous party! Love the 365 pictures!
Snow is hardly my favorite season, we arent as piled in it as you all are. But still in the NE it sometimes seems like a 9 month season. But it makes spring all the more worth it!
