Snow Falling on Pines

Spokane has lots of Ponderosa Pine trees. Riverside State Park is one of my all-time favorite places to explore and today left me breathless! It was sooooooo pretty down at the river. Very quiet and white with a bit of green. See for yourself...two pictures for today's Project 365!

I enjoyed all your pictures. You sure captured how cold that water is-brrrr. I love the puppies waiting and hoping for just a few drops!! Come over and check out my HOPE picture & I am always glad to meet a fellow coffee lover!!!

Let's come back and look at these pictures in August! They really capture the harsh beauty of the winter.
We are supposed to have a nice day today, so we're going to go out and play on our snow drifts. Really, we just like a reason to drink hot cocoa with marshmallows...

Strange, but comes from the days I worked at an arena and transferred nicely to a ranchwife!

Enjoyed the Riverside park photos. Beautiful! Love that place too. Also Manitou (sp?) Park is another place we always go when we visit home. I still can't quite believe how much snow y'all have on the ground. I've been there when they've had 30" but never quite what you've got now. Can't even imagine having to deal with it. What's going to heppen when it all melts?? Do you have a canoe or boat?

Enjoy the Bubble Pizza. It's a favorite at our house; one of those meals I know every one will eat.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures. I just look out my window at this point and think "how inconvenient!" It looks like things are going to warm up next week, but it's still going to be a mess. Sigh.

I'd be happy to help hold you accountable to keep track of your points...as long as you do the same for me. : ) I keep mine next to my computer downstairs so that I have easy access to it if/when I complete the small thing.

Well, better get back to folding. Have a great week!

I love the bridge in your second picture. Your photos look so cold and yet peaceful. Great captures!

In the Chicago area we have almost zero snow on the ground because we had a day or two of temps in the 50's last week. You are buried!
