Gratitude Friday

I got a late start today on my Gratitude List! I took today off from work and just enjoyed the day. Grab a cup of tea or coffee and share your list with me~ I so enjoy reading your lists of gratitude!

1. sunshine, sunshine, sunshine! (warm and sunny, cold and sunny -- I've experienced both this week)

2. a wonderful neurologist who not only prayed with me during last week's visit, but called me up today to check on me. WOW!

3. my hair stylist Melissa. What a hero! We (she!) took care of that grey today, added some highlights and texturized my hair. It's beautiful once again!

4. my principal friend who has been there for me through thick and thin these past 10 years & I'm blessed because of her positive role model as an educator and a friend. Please be praying for her in the next few weeks!

5. the beauty of
Tshimakain Creek Camp! I went out there to deliver a few things and got to tour the camp. This is where I'll be working all summer. It was soooooo pretty -- deer on the property, the Spokane River running alongside the camp, wonderful new facilities and great people to work with!

6. Even though I had to leave the warmth and relaxation of Orlando, I jumped back into the teaching routine just fine. I taught Kindergarten, Special Education and third grade this week! LOVE IT~

7. friends who stop by for tea -- what a treat today!

That's good stuff!

My list is:

1. My old dog, Molly, who is going to be 10 in a couple of days.

2. My husband, Wayland. Too often he follows the dog, in the lists, but he's really first in my heart.

3. A weather report that lists 50 degree days for a week. I almost can't type that without crying...

4. Blogs! And my blogger friends, that I never anticipated, but adore just the same.

5. Sumatra coffee, with cream and sugar. Do you EVER not thank God for coffee? I don't.

Hope you have a great Saturday with your new hair! That was a good nudge, because mine is getting unkempt.

Fresh hair is always a #1 thing to be thankful for...

I'm thankful for 3 full days of being alone...can't think of the last time that has EVER happened. Kids and husband are all gone to various places. I'll be extremely happy to have everyone back, but I will enjoy the quiet.

Not so thankful for my daughter's dog, who I am babysitting..e's still a puppy and into everything and won't leave my old dog alone :(

We enjoyed some sun this past week too. Hurray! It disappeared today, and I hear it's rainy again up there too. My sister and her friend just flew up to Seattle this morning...a quick weekend trip, and then driving down to Portland. Sounds like you're surrounded by some great people.

Hi Kerri! I'm so glad you had a great trip. You are a blessing to me even though we have never met in person. Thanks for your thoughts on my blog. I am always glad when you stop by for a visit. :)
