Gratitude Friday

Good morning! Fresh Starbucks coffee is in the coffee pot, tea water is on for those who like Tazo teas (all decaf!) and there's cranberry juice or water, too. A delightful section today for us to share our Gratitude Friday lists with each other!

1. My car! It's back, working 100% better. I loved the paperwork "no charge, no charge, no charge!"
2. The first sign of spring in my back yard! I saw buds on my little weeping willow tree. It's beautiful!
3. Another week of wonderful teaching in three different schools, 1st grade, 5th and 6th grade and 2nd grade! I learned about bats, how to use an Evidence Circle in literature and that I was only 5 years old when the first spaceship landed on the moon. The kids were amazed. Exact date: July 20, 1969.
4. I've got my summer job all lined up already. If you haven't seen yesterday's post, I'm working at the Union Gospel Mission Kids' Camp as the Challenge Course facilitator.
5. My husband has brought me my first cup of coffee each morning and placed it on my bedside. A nice way to wake up, smelling coffee!

Great list! Yes, I've also had the joy of a fixed car and no charge, that puts a spring in your step ... or driving. Sounds like a fun week of teaching. Thanks for the coffee.

Ooh! I'll take cranberry juice--that sounds so good. Thanks for sharing your thankful list. I'm rejoicing over Spring as well! Have a happy Friday.

I love your gratitude lists!! Reminds me to appreciate the small things in life.

My list:
1) The cute little flowers my friend Kristin brought into work for me from her mom's plant at home.
2) I have a job where I am happy and have bosses who support me.
3) I get to go line dancing tonight.
4) I get to see friends this weekend.

Thanks for reminding me about the little things!

Yay for the summer job, teaching and coffee!

My list, today:

1. Antibiotics...

2. Little blue eyed girl and little green eyed boy that want to snuggle on my lap at the same time.

3. Garden seeds! Little packets of hope.

4. My friend Mike, who can appreciate a rubber chicken joke and responds in kind.

5. 10 minutes of solitude after lunch.

Love reading your list and hearing of your world....one of the things I was so thankful for was the sensational way God has created beauty in so many formats...truly breathtaking when you stop and really look at creation!

Oh Teachers are so special. Hope my late coffee doesn't keep you up too late tonight

My husband makes the coffee in the morning. But I haven't gotten him to bring it to me in bed yet. How do you do that?

Sounds like you will have a fun summer. We did a ropes course one year in our youth group. It was just a day thing, but it was great....granted it was in the pouring rain, but it make it more challenging.

What a sweet hubby you have. :) When do you get your test results back from this week, btw? I want to hear the results.

I've really come to enjoy reading your gratitude list every week. Keep it coming!

I'm with Melissa...I love your lists!

I'm thankful that we made it through a hockey tournament with no broken bones or injuries :) I'm just now getting around for coffee (sun night!)

I'm thankful Kohls had a nice sale in which I scooped 2 sweet sweaters. For me, shopping is a chore and I'm always thankful when I am able to find something on the rare occasion that I get out!

We are pooped out! The H season is over, finally.
