Happiness and perfection

I admit, I am a perfectionist through and through! I've struggled with happiness, too, and looking in so many directions. But I found this quote a few days ago and it's settled me right down. I think you'll agree with the quote!

“Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.”

Nice blog, Kerri! Love your pictures, too. Perfectionism: I learned a lot about that by reading the "flylady" philosophy. I learned that by being a perfectionist, I wouldn't start a task unless I felt like I could do it perfectly! This was a revelation to me & explained so much. Now, I try to just START.
